AMaGA Victoria’s Exhibition Services Program (incorporating the Roving Curator Program) was designed to provide in-depth exhibition support for four community museums per year. After much consideration, the Branch Committee has decided to focus on our programs that are open to a larger number of members and the Exhibition Services program will cease at the end of 2019. We acknowledge the significant contribution the program has made over the past five years to over twenty community organisations, and the advice and support our expert Exhibition Services Manager Kitty Owens has provided to our members.

Our Exhibition Services Program supports Victorian collecting organisations to develop high quality exhibitions for diverse audiences through the Roving Curator Program and through provision of advice and training.

Roving Curator Program 2014 - 2019

The Roving Curator Program helped museums and galleries develop engaging and dynamic exhibitions. The program offered an exhibitions professional (Roving Curator) to work with successful applicants on an exhibition-related project. Support provided includes several days on-site assistance and follow-up advice.
