Congratulations to the 2023 Victorian Museums and Galleries awards shortlist!

AMaGA Victoria and PGAV are delighted to announce the shortlist for the 2023 Victorian Museums and Galleries Awards. Now in their 30th year, the 2023 Awards mark the first time our two organisations have partnered to recognise outstanding achievements in the museum, gallery and collecting sector.

The 2023 Awards received a record 55 nominations, with 32 organisations shortlisted. The shortlisted organisations for the Project of the Year Awards are:

Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony, which will be hosted by ACMI – Melbourne’s celebrated home of screen culture – and MC’d by the vibrant Jacinta Parsons, broadcaster, radio maker, writer, and public speaker.

This gala event – the sector’s night of nights – offers a unique opportunity for our community to come together in celebration of the people and organisations whose passion, resilience and creativity underpin the renown of the Victorian museum and gallery sector.

Winners of the individual award categories will also be announced on the night.

Tickets for the Awards Ceremony are selling fast, so book now to avoid disappointment.

TICKETS: AMaGA Victoria members $70, PGAV members $70, non-members $90

Ticket price includes entry to the Awards Ceremony, a welcome drink on arrival and delectable canapés. A cash bar will be available for the purchase of additional drinks.
